The Fireworks Show

America 250 Light Up The Bayou banner image

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday on Boggy Bayou with the Light Up the Bayou Fireworks Spectacular on July 4th, 2026.

This annual Independence Day celebration features a dazzling fireworks display over Boggy Bayou, visible from the shores of Niceville and Valparaiso. The show begins at 8:45 pm, with fireworks launched from a floating platform in the middle of the bayou.

Sound Associates will begin broadcasting music at 6:00 pm, including the synchronized soundtrack for the fireworks show. Speakers will be positioned on the fire dock at Lions Park to project audio up, down, and across the bayou.

Rainbow Snow Cones and El Cubanazo will be on location at Lions Park, and Tucker’s Ice will be stationed at Lincoln Park.

Where are some great locations to view the fireworks? Check out the map below.
